About / Mission

PixelPointe was created to be the first company to holistically protect the digital assets of the Media and Entertainment industry.  Our approach, using leading-edge blockchain technology and ultra-advanced cybersecurity, begins during Pre-Production and continues through to the final cut – all the while providing end-to-end auditability without compromising end user functionality.

A women-led business, PixelPointe is managed by a seasoned team – with backgrounds in blockchain, cyber security, international business development and service in the armed forces – that is passionate about, and experienced in, IP protection.

Monica Pearson

COO

Monica helms all aspects of operations, with discipline.  She is a decorated United States Air Force service-disabled veteran with 20+ years of military service.  As a Command Post Controller, Monica held Top Secret clearance while executing Emergency War Orders.  Also while deployed, she was awarded the NATO Medal for supporting the financial activities of 650 personnel during Operations Deny Flight and Provide Promise, while maintaining 100% account accuracy and a $2+ million budget.  While stationed in Europe she was responsible for the scheduling and certification of over 120,000 annual commercial vendor payments, in 13 currencies, worth over $700 million.  Monica earned her MBA from Mercy College, NY, and graduated from Southern Illinois University Carbondale with a BS in Workforce Education and Development.

Seth Rao

Seth’s comprehensive knowledge of IT and cybersecurity is fueled by his enthusiasm in keeping up with the fast pace of technological change. His exacting standards demand the most secure and regulatory compliant solutions for clients. Seth has over two decades of experience managing the mission critical technology for the United Nations, foreign and domestic governments, ultra-high net worth individuals and businesses.  Prior to his complete immersion in technology, Seth was a film and video producer for commercials, music videos and documentaries.

Ralph Echemendia

Ralph (Rafael) Echemendia is a world-renowned cybersecurity expert, who is known as the “The Ethical Hacker.”  For the last 25 years, as a computer hacking consultant, he has taught major corporations and sectors of the Federal Government how to better protect themselves from digital threats as well as security breaches.  He consults for a number of Hollywood entities and individuals on how to reduce the impact of security breaches. Echemendia is also a creative and technical consultant to film and television projects.

Although, he has taken part in several behind the scenes projects, Ralph has also been a featured speaker/panelist at events such as Davos, Austin’s SXSW, LA Film Festival and Tribeca Film Festival.  His jaw dropping “Hacking Hollywood” appearance has been presented at CAA, DEW Expo, Content Protection & Piracy Summit, as well as the Anti-Piracy and Content Protection Summit.

For over 20 years, Ralph has delivered training on hacking and other security information to corporations including the US Marines Corps, NASA, Google, Microsoft, Oracle, AMEX, Intel, Boeing, Symantec, and IBM.  He has conducted security audits and penetration tests, while consulting for various organizations including United Nations, as well as hospitals and financial institutions.
